From seeing how grass roots hand to hand help is needed I decided to set up this campaign to raise funds for refugee camps based in Greece and on the Macedonia border. For four and a half weeks I helped out by the best and worst means possible on two refugee camps in Grande-Synthe, Dunkirk France, working in distribution areas and building. The conditions on the first camp were quite unimaginable living conditions for the year 2016, the second camp was alot better conditions regarding less mud and better sanitation. After hearing about dire conditions in refugee camps in Greece and on the Macedonia border I decided to put this campaign together to fund essential equipment for refugees in these areas. Money raised will go direct to where it needs to go to help in purchasing of food for food packages, gas stoves for cooking, blankets, clothes, sleeping bags, tents, pots, pans, cutlery, sanitation equipment, I will be working with local suppliers and along side other volunteers to make sure what is needed goes direct to where it needs to go to help.

There is between 12-15,000 refugees in Idomeni camp on the Macedonia border, approx 65% are women and children. There are also 3 smaller camps in the area, two in petrol stations - BP with around 200 refugees, EKO around 1,500 refugees and Hotel Hara which has become a meeting point for refugees with around 500 people there. Almost all are in tents, most of these tents are not suitable for the conditions.
