Campaign Story
On December 16th, 2021 the Island of Siargao in the Philippines was hit and ravaged by Super Typhoon Rai known in the Philippines as Typhoon Odette.
95% of all the structures on the island have been damaged with 80% of homes completely wiped off the face of the Earth
Our team has been on the ground helping with the relief efforts since the Typhoon hit and we have a long road ahead to getting Siargao back on her feet.
The Pilar District Hospital was also severely damaged in the storm and we are now focusing our efforts on fully repairing the hospital.
The Pilar District Hospital one of only a few on the Island has always been a beacon of hope in the North of the island as it’s been the most accessible location for quality health care for those living in the area and not having to travel over an hour or more to other facilities.
We are in desperate need of;
Construction Materials
- Tin Roofing
- Lumber
- Nails
- Electrical Wiring
- Paints & Sealants
Diesel Generator
- Estimated 3 to 6 months before power is restored
Solar Lighting
Medicines
Hospital Beds
We’re reaching out to you at this time to help us with this project and get the Hospital back to serving the community.
