Help Ramesh

Nepal Earthquake Fund - Help a friend.You will have seen the devastating images on the news. You will have read newspaper articles and you may have even seen the frightening videos after the earthquake hit on the internet. It is not until it effects somebody that you know that it becomes real for you. I work with a young man called Ramesh in Dubai. He works hard and spends months away from his family so that he can send them money home for a better life. His young family were living a basic life but they were happy. They had their own home and they were making a life for themselves. Then the earthquake hit. Ramesh's family home was destroyed in an instant. You could say that they are the lucky ones. They did not lose their lives but now his family are displaced with no home to live in and the difficult task of re-building everything that they had been working towards. Health and illness have become a serious threat. When someone does the right thing (works hard and provides for their families), only to have this taken away, I find this hard to take.
