Help Raise Money for Combi for Children

We run a a part time child care business after hours mostly.

We have had two other children who lived with us before as foster children. That would make us a family of 8.

We have four of our own children, ages, 5, 7, 15 and 19. Plus we have another child who we currently foster who is 15.

We always have a lot of children in our lives.

Last year we filled in all the forms and applications through Social Services to become foster parents, or place of safety parents.

There is a huge need in our area.

We can provide extensive references of parents who trust us with their children.

We have looked after babies as young as three months full time. We have looked after babies, toddlers, teenagers etc. We have a lot of teenagers who come to us for advise and help. We have all baby supplies cots, chairs etc.

Our home is geared for children and child friendly. We offer lots of Love, stable routine and environment.

We discipline positively through love and understanding.

We are well known in the community as a loving family, who does love children. We always have a lot of children. We always cook extra meals, sometimes for 13 people. Our home is always open.

My husband has a certificate in counseling children and adolescents, and I've studied child care, anger and stress management and mentoring for success.

We both want to make a difference in the world and we know that provide that to children.

Our challenge is that we have one car. This is fine when we make short trips with only one or two children. As soon as we need to go anywhere as a family it becomes a challenge. If we get any more children, we won't be able to go anywhere. Sometimes we need to travel in two cars, or make several trips, and need to squash.

We would really like to buy a Kombi for this purpose. We both do this mostly on a part time bases. We still need to work to pay for and support our family, plus extended family. We simply do not have the funds to buy a Kombi and we cannot afford to make a debt purchase.

Therefore, we would wholeheartedly appreciate it if we could raise the money for the kombi.
