Help Raise Funds for Reylynne’s Dad

For those of you who do not know Reylynne, "Rey" as most of her friends fondly call her, is a passionate advocate of children's rights. She has also spent many years as a champion of good governance and anti-corruption advocacies.

As a friend, we have seen Reylynne as a selfless and kind-hearted soul who never fails to make her presence felt e-v-e-r-y single day in the lives of the people she cared the most, especially her family. She's a responsible, dedicated, and loving daughter, and now more than ever, she needs our help.

Last January 24, Reylynne's father, "Tito Reynaldo" was rushed to a hospital in Caloocan due to persistent chest and abdominal pain. Because of lack of available room or bed, they were transferred to ACE Medical Center where the doctors advised that immediate transfer to ICU is critical due to sepsis caused by liver abscess that could cause kidney and other organ failures.

Thankfully, after several days at the ICU, Tito Reynaldo's condition improved. The doctors successfully aspirated the abscess in his liver and his kidneys now are both functioning normally. Tito Reynaldo needs to stay at the ICU though for continuous monitoring of his heart and lung condition.

The hospital's running bill has now ballooned to more than PhP500,000 and will probably increase with Tito Reynaldo's continued stay at the ICU. Rey's family is also seeking the help of relatives and is trying to get financial assistance from government agencies like PCSO and DSWD. The estimated amount to be collected though is still not enough to cover the ICU and recovery expenses.

This is why we have set up this campaign, for us, her friends to help Reylynne raise funds during this difficult time. All your donations will go towards Tito Reynaldo's medical bills.
