Please consider donating to help VKB animal rescue to pay for Peaches open-heart surgery. Without the surgery, her condition can result in a sudden heart attack at any moment. With the surgery, she will be able to live a normal, happy, and healthy life. The estimated cost of the surgery will be HKD $45,000. It is expected that Peaches will need to stay at the vet clinic for one week time. When we include medication and all other costs, the approximate cost of the total bill will be HKD $75,000, and this is on top of the amount already paid.

只有14個月大的Peaches，患有先天性心臟病。若她不盡快接受治療，隨時會有心臟病發及死亡的危險。目前，只有進行開胸手術，Peaches才可以得到一個健康成長的機會！

VKB, privately run, and entirely by volunteer efforts, works hard to save and rehome animals, but a vet bill such as this is only possible with the help of donations.

At VKB it is our mission to quit at nothing to save an animal. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at living a quality life, regardless of age, temperament, or prognosis. If there is an option for the animal to live happily, we do our best to supply it.

醫生預計手術費為 HKD$45,000，術後Peaches亦需要留院觀察大約一星期。整個治療包括手術前的檢查、術後的住院費用、必需的藥物，加上林林總總的雜費，Peaches總醫療費用預料將高達 HKD$75,000。

作為一間私營機構，VKB的日常運作、拯救以及為毛孩尋家的過程，全賴一群熱心的義工的努力。因此，每當有毛孩不幸患上嚴重疾病而需要龐大的醫療開支，我們就很需要依賴大家善心的捐款幫助！

In addition to rehoming animals in need, VKB also manages a rescue kennel. Many dogs, from the abandoned to the 'unhomeable' reside under its care. A group of hardworking working and dedicated volunteers, led by founder Okka Scherer, devote themselves to giving a voice to deserving animals.

At only 14 months old, Peaches deserves a chance to live a long and healthy life.
