What was supposed to be an event to bring the Fixed Gear community together turned into a campaign of hate , ignorance and hearsay manipulated by the media . After more then 2 years of legal proceedings , they are now facing 2 weeks in jail, a $7000 fine each ,and their drivers licenses revoke for 12 months.
All of this will never take away from the fact that cycling is the most beautiful sport in the world. No other sport can transform small towns, back roads and alleys so naturally connects with it's fans, and brings out so much emotion. We don't have a velodrome nor the means for a permit . It was done purely out of the love of the sport.
These two guys are NOT criminals.
Eric , a hardworking man with a passion for cycling have a humble shop where he sells and services bicycles for the Fixed Gear community. Most fixed gear cyclist will know who he is and his humble lil shop was where it all began.
Zul , the man everyone loves to hate due to his sense of humour. But behind that stone cold face , lies a man so passionate about cycling , he sacrificed his time from his family for the Fixed Gear Community.
These are hardworking and courageous guys
However, with your support and help , they will be able to better afford the hefty fine imposed to them. For those who have participated or came to support HolyCrit all these years , I hope you can do your part. Help save Zul & Eric. We are also responsible . We cannot let them take the fall on their own.
To the rest of the world , please unite and spread the word.
Help us bring HolyCrit back !

Revoking and taking away freedom & expressions do not address the root issue. They can revoke whatever they like, but they cant revoke our love for the sport.

Besides the pain that is doing time in jail, these guys have to bear the pain of facing their parents, family, relatives and all the uncalled-for "see what good this business have brought you" remarks. My donation may not be big, but I wish these guys all the emotional strength they need for what's about to come and what comes after. Don't worry about society not being accepting of you guys, cause we got your backs! Ps I'm not a cyclist heh heh
