Help put Brandon to rest.

Short story about Brandon.

When Brandon was born he was of course a picture perfect bundle of joy. He was the second of three kids, and was always extremely special. He was always very creative, fun, full of energy, and very loving. He loved fishing, camping, being on the farm, and of course hanging out with his big brother. However, when he was about 12 years old he and his family learned that he suffered from a rare form of MS that would soon cripple him. Before he was in his 20's he was confined to a wheel chair. Soon his fingers and toes would start to curl under, rendering it impossible to use them. He also lost all body mass, and was unable to use any part of his body from the neck down. He literally because a soul and mind in a skeleton of a body. Being over 6ft tall and weighing under 70lbs. Brandon called himself the skull keeper, cause that’s how he felt. However, no matter how confined he was by his body, his mind never stopped and his will to his passions never ended. He used his mouth and the little movement his body allowed him to continue being creative. He did amazing wood burnings and stunning paintings. He filled his family’s home with forever reminders of how no matter what your condition, there is never a reason to stop existing. Sadly, Brandon had recently come down with a simple flu and was taken to the hospital expecting to go home shortly. However, he sadly stopped breathing on his own and was put on life support and was put into a coma to try and recover. Once his family decided to remove the life support, Brandon passed within hours. He is someone no one could ever forget and someone who did nothing in life but love the hand he was dealt and the people he was given to play the game with. He will forever be missed, loved, and his passions will forever be enjoyed.

The help thats need. 

Brandon’s family is now in a rough spot. His death came out of nowhere as his condition wasn’t expected to take his life. His lifelong medical expenses drained the family and left them in a really hard place when it came to putting him to rest. They were able to cover the burial costs but still need some help in paying for his headstone as well as getting back to a normal way of life after such a hard blow. Right now they are really focused on getting him his headstone, which his older brother designed just for Brandon as another way to carry on his creative impact on everyone who knew him and to express it to those who didn’t.
