Being sick should not be a reason to be denied education. This is what Philippine General Hospital’s (PGH) Silahis ng Kalusugan, a hospital-based school for chronically-ill children, advocates. This attests to PGH’s commitment to fulfill its mission to provide “comprehensive, people-empowered, accessible child health-care services, especially to the underserved.”
The Silahis ng Kalusugan provides multilevel education, bedside instruction and enriching activities for students. In order to carry on with this noble journey, they are currently in need of a desktop computer, office, school and art supplies.
With this in mind, we are humbly reaching out and asking for your support so we can gather enough funds to help provide what the students need and deserve.
You can donate as much as your generosity allows. :) Any assistance you can provide will be gladly appreciated and will go a long way in elevating the educational experience of kids who may or may not have enough time in this world.
