- Hello Everyone, Pristina Home Delivery groceries is a start-up with limited resources that was born out of a personal challenge. I worked in a bank for 4 years, though on contract and I had serious challenges getting groceries at my convenience as the job was very demanding and do not have time for myself. During the weekends when I do have time to go to an open market to pick groceries, My challenge is further compounded by:
- Busy and hectic life;
- Heavy traffic on our roads;
- Lack of parking spaces;
- Crowded and messy open markets. This makes it extremely inconvenient to go to the preferred store and open markets to buy what I want and when I need it. I am then forced to resort to alternatives such as local stores where goods have less quality. I have been out of job since 2009 as my contract has ended and looked for job but could not get a permanent job. So I decided to turn my challenge into a business opportunity and started this business by supplying former colleagues at the bank their groceries in their offices and homes using a motorbike. Sometimes when it rains, I am drenched in it and besides that, my clients have increased and have more demands than I can meet. So it is a very big challenge for me to deliver all orders as my resources are limited. My clients are growing on a daily basis as more and more people are feeling the inconveniences the open market is causing alongside the heavy traffic where people spend the whole day trying to pick up groceries. So I really need help to purchase more motorbikes for delivery as and increase my storage facilities to enable me preserve more of the groceries as some of them are perishables.
