Help previously disadvantaged South African students bridge to university

South African students are facing a crisis, with Mathematics and Science marks at a record low. Our bridging year programme in Cape Town runs a free year-long curriculum teaching tertiary preparedness skills (academic and computer literacy, critical thinking skills and career guidance) and environmental awareness, while students upgrade their academic marks through an academic rewrite organisation. This organisation charges $400 per student to study Mathematics and Physical Science in an intensive one year programme which greatly increases their chances of being accepted to a tertiary institution the following year. Our aim is to fully fund six students this year. We desperately want to help a group of talented students achieve their dreams of attending university. Paying these fees themselves would be an impossibility for these students, and we need your help. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a big difference!
