Help Pre-School Children Today!

The New Interdisciplinary School (NIS) is a pre-school in Yaphank, NY serving children from birth to age five with and without disabilities.  We are a circle of people who envelop those we serve with warmth, enlightment, and security.  We are a creative learning center for the community, for children with disabilties, and those who are typically developing.  Our commitment to provide therapeutic and educational services with love and the highest standard of expertise to all who come to NIS remains constant, strong, and deep.

NIS does receive funding from NYS and Suffolk County to provide services and busing to our children with disabilties, however, we rely on donations for everything else we do.  Our school is offered free of charge to our students, with the exception of our daycare and aftercare programs.  We are so much more than a school.  I encourage you to visit our website at www.niskids.org, like our facebook page at www.facebook.com/newinterdisciplinaryschool, and especially WATCH OUR VIDEO to learn more about who we are at www.niskids.org/video.
