Help Poor People in Morocco against Coronavirus

The COVID-19 pandemic marks an unprecedented time in modern history that will require the best of humanity to overcome. This crisis threatens everyone's way of life, but it is especially difficult for people who are already vulnerable, including those with pre-existing medical conditions, older adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees and migrants, wage workers, and those with inflexible jobs.

We are going through difficult times, due to the coronavirus crisis many families in Morocco who lived day by day are having a hard time. Many of these families worked at the borders to bring the bread home and since the closing they have no income.

Most are widowed women with children, and have nothing to put in their mouths or to feed their children. We are at the gates of the holy month of Ramadan, I call on all of us to contribute and to give them some encouragement and hope. Anyone who wants to collaborate by donating or sharing the campaign, we will appreciate any donation. With the contributions we will make basic food purchases for families.

Getting more ventilators in Morocco is not enough, though. Trained medical personnel are also needed to run the machines, as well as a reliable electricity supply and piped oxygen.

There are a lot of people who are going to just be sick and in bed. And so what will you be doing for those folks? What kinds of palliation will be provided? Will communities be able to come together to offer painkillers, fever reducers, expectorants, decongestants.
