My name is Phatutshedzo Shaun Maswanganyi, I am 19 years old. I was born and raised by a single mom in Johannesburg and later moved to Pretoria. I matriculated at St Albans College in 2019.

I have been able to attain over a dozen Division 1 scholarship offers in very well known universities in the USA and the world. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to attend The University of Houston in Texas in the fall of 2020. ( August ) With that, I’ll need to raise $4000 to cover various expenses.

Some of my achievements in athletics are:

• 1st at South African Nationals in Long Jump U15 in a distance of 7.09m (2016)
• 1st at the South African Schools Champs U20 100m (2019)
• 1st at the South African Schools Champs U20 Long Jump (2019)
• 1st at the South African National Champs U20 200m (2019)
• 1st at the African Junior Champs 200m U20 (2019)

My Personal Bests:

60m Indoor: 6.65sec

100m: 10.22sec

200m: 20.75sec

Long Jump: 7.57m

I would really like to advance my talent and use this opportunity to study in one of the best universities in the world so that I can come back and give the best of me to the community and my country.
