Help Pete Move Across Countries

The Story:

So, here I am again. Once again asking for help when I'm in a bad situation. I hate that we have to do this again after such a short period of time, but hey. It isn't always that things go how we plan.

A few months ago I asked for help to pay some bills and help fund a computer, so I could use my salary to cover medical bills and the rest of the bills. I would have some rough times ahead, but I could manage. And managing I was, up until now. I had a job lined up after my previous one ended, and was going to start this month. However, due to current political climate and ever-growing cuts into funding, the job was no more. To be fair, neither was the company offering it anymore, so it's not like they had a choice.

Unfortunately, I was too proud and made the mistake of hedging my bets on this job, hoping it would all work out. Made the terrible mistake of not having a second choice, plan, whatever, and that's on me. Cause now most of my meagre savings are gone, and I can't start building them out again. So that leaves me with $150 in the bank to do what I need doing. After plenty of soul searching, I decided that I can't live in this country anymore. I have nothing more I can offer to it, and it has nothing to offer in what I want to do with my life, personally or professionally. So under the advice of everyone, I'm starting this campaign to get me enough funds to buy a plane ticket out of here, and help with costs while I look for a job that will allow me to reside out of this country. With my skills and experience, I'm fairly confident I'll be able to get a job soon enough.

What I'll be using the money for:

Important note: Most of these are in the local currency, which the total sum will translated into dollars at the end.

• Plane ticket: costs anywhere between $4000-6000, depending on the dates. It'll also have to have a return flight, in the (hopefully) unlikely case that I don't manage to get a job.
• Rent: I have to pay a month's rent if I want to leave before 6 months are up on the current lease. Not negotiable, and will be $4000
• Passport renewal: While I got both my passports (dual citizenship) renewed recently, I could only get a temp renewal on one, for personal reasons I won't get into. As it is set to expire, I have to obtain a new one before I leave the country. Costs $275.25
• Miscellaneous costs such as food, transportation and rent on a place to stay.

All in all, the fixed costs, plus the variable ones, should amount to $4000 US Dollars. That will ensure I can pay all the fixed costs and have some leftovers in case of an emergency. Of course, there is the possibility of incurring legal fees in the immigration process, but that is something that will have to be dealt with as it comes.

It's hard to ask help. But hey, it took some convincing by some amazing people, so here I am. I want to live in a country where my skills can be properly utilised, where I can practice my craft. Somewhere I can give back after receiving so much help. I just want to live in a better place, so here I am asking for help.
