Help People With Cancer

What we do :

We give, according to the need : medicines that the public health system does not have, and material for dressings and personal hygiene, probes, diapers, wheelchairs and bath, and depending on the emergency, clinical exams and more.

The Cancer Support House - CAPEC, is a non-profit organization. It is headquartered in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. We help hundreds of people and their families. Our main goal is to help cancer patients live well and better. We also work to disseminate information in society, addressing diverse topics on the right to health, citizenship and cancer prevention.

We help around 80 people between the ages of 1 and 90 nowadays. Each of these people knows that they can count on monthly food for their family, with the transportation voucher for their consultations, exams, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, psychological care and interaction activities through craft workshops. With medicines that the public health system does not provide, with dietary supplementation, diapers, etc. All assistance to them is only possible, because we rely exclusively on the donations of supportive people who share what they have with the most needy. We and our supporters work for the sole purpose of upholding the value of life and the right to decent medical treatment. We promote improvement in quality of life, joy, hope, solidarity. With transparency, dedication and commitment of all staff and supporters we transform anxieties and needs into hopes and joys. For all of us life is the greatest gift of God.
