Help People like my Granddad…Please READ!

My Grandfather passed away on 29th June 2013 due to cerebral infarction. He has suffered from cerebral infarction for over 9 years since January 2004. He was hospitalized in a Private Elderly Care Centre in Ansan in South Korea, costing around $1500 a month. But the service from the private hospital was unacceptable; his body wasn't following the instruction from the nurse due to his health condition.

Regrettably Nurses from the hospital decided to make the wrong solution for the problem by tying his legs together so he cannot move, meanwhile his leg was tied together and was left abandoned tied for over 2 months, no massage or any medication was given to him for the blood circulation for his tied legs. Few days after the funeral on the day of Cremation service, his legs were stiff and hardened and had to be cremated with his legs tied… But now his with God.

But there are 27% of elderlies, who has been abandoned by their family due to their health problems such as disabilities, high hospital fees and unemployment etc. There is place where the government has gathered the abandoned elderlies into a Dosshouse. But the dosshouse isn't free, it costs around 50 Pounds per month for a room with rotten floors and non-insulated walls without heaters. These elderlies who live in the dosshouse has no ability to work due to health problems such as disabilities…therefore the governments takes the dosshouse away from the elderlies, leaving them to live on the streets…in some cases the elderlies decides to take loans from the loan sharks and end up in huge amount of debt, and in worse cases they commit suicide… These elderlies don't have enough money to afford medications for their health, which results in elderlies starving more than 3-4 days a week. 

For this reason I have started this fundraising project to help majority of elderlies who live in the doss house. I am planning to raise at least 15 000 pounds to pay the rent for the doss house, pay debts, reconstruct the inside of the doss house etc.

To raise the funds I am planning to shave my hair and donate to cancer research team for wig manufacturing, Street concerts, Run Marathon and hold fundraising events.
