Campaign Story
Together we can wipe at least one of many tear drops off of those who are affected by flooding and mudslides in Sri Lanka.
We are personally involved in arranging aid direct to these people, especially in areas where many people cannot reach to help - such as Morawaka, Deniyaya and Neluwa.
You also can be a part in this worthy cause.
Sri Lanka remains in the grips of the worst flooding in 14 years. Flooding and mudslides that have killed more than 160 people are expected to continue, and about half a million people have been affected and displaced according to the Red Cross. Sri Lankan Forces, public, media units and charities have been on the scene to give first aid, help with search and rescue missions, distribute food, water and supplies.
The next phase is to resettle them after the flooding and mudslides are cleared.
They will not have anything in their possession to resume their and their children's lives. Your donated funds will go diretowards providing them with essential household goods, pots and pans, bedding and many more.
We will keep you updated with photos and videos throughout the campaign.
