Help Pedro get to Oxford University

My name is Pedro Lack, I am 18 years old and from Brazil.

Mathematics has been my passion since I was a little boy. Since 8th grade, I have participated in Mathematical Olympiads, receiving 4 medals in the national Olympiad, one gold medal in the Portuguese-speaking countries Mathematical Olympiad, and an honourable mention in the highly acclaimed International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

This year, I was the only Brazilian to receive an offer from Oxford University to study a course at the undergraduate level. I secured a place to read Mathematics and Philosophy, a course that will accept only 20 students in 2022.

Being a non-European overseas student in the UK means that I will need to pay over £32,000 annually on tuition fees, four times more than domestic students. The overall costs of the four years of study (3 years for the bachelor's degree and 1 year for the master's) will exceed £150,000.

Unfortunately, the Brazilian government currently doesn't provide financial help for international undergraduate education, nor am I eligible to take international student loans. While my family will do what it can to cover some of the costs and I will also get some help from my high school in Brazil, I would be extremely grateful for any donations that I could use towards my living and educational costs.

I hope to dedicate the knowledge I will acquire in Oxford to improving research and the level of Math education in Brazil.
