Short Summary

Hello, I would like to start off by saying that my dog Mindy was such a charasmatic and full of life dog. She saved my grandmother's life and kept her company. On Sunday, April 28 my dog was attacked by a dog. Me and my mom were not home, but my grandmother was sitting with her outside. The dog broke her back, ruined her sensory nerves, and caused a big gash below her stomach. My dog was in pain, but tried to be strong for our family. Immediately my mom took her to the ER and they checked her. They said that the surgery would cost over three thousand dollars, and so my mom just took her back home. The amount the ER charges is 200 dollars for a checkup. The following Monday my mom and I took Mindy to the Vet and they charged her another 200 dollars to check her up. The doctor said there was nothing to do for her unless we put her down or take her home. With the condition she was in it would be selfish for us to take her home. We made the hardest decision to put the dog that was part of our family for 6 years to sleep. They charged 75 dollars to do this. My family and I are still in shock, and would appreciate any help we can get to help pay for her expensive vet bills. Thank you.

What We Need

Any amount of money donated is appreaciated. Even if you cannot donate I thank you for stopping and reading this, it means alot. We need close to around 500 dollars to pay for the total cost of the two visits to the vet and ER.

The Impact

By donating you would seriously help take a load of stress of our family. Mindy was such a caring dog, and although not a human she was just as important to us.
