Help pay a lawyer for a schizophrenic in jail

my husband is a diagnosed schizophrenic he was having a episode and I called for an ambulance to get him help when the ambulance arrived so did 4 sheriff cars they did not properly know how to handle someone in a manic state and ended up taking him to the ground while our 3 yr old daughter was screaming don’t hurt my daddy they put there knee in his throat and while my husband was on his stomach face in the dirt and started swinging his arm backwords and the sheriff leaned in to far and got clipped in the jaw. I have hired an attorney threw the Texas jail project that helps with mental illness and I’m needing help paying for this the attorney said once they prove to the court my husband was in a manic state and did not know what he was doing they can get the charges dropped please I’m begging I have no other options please hel
