My name is Patience Mpofu, a graduate LLB student at the University of Cape Town. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in politics, International Relations, and media and writing. I am therefore writing to ask whether you would consider offering some form of sponsorship to help me finish my Law degree through your generosity.
It has been my dream since I was young to become a lawyer but this is being hampered by my social status of being an orphan with no economic sound background. I lost both of my parents when I was young, I have thus, until this level been helped by relations and hustling to make ends meet. I took an Eduloan to pay for my initial registration fees, hoping that I will be able to find a job and be able to pay back Eduloan and my outstanding tuition fees by the end of June 2019. I haven't found any well-paying jobs and Law is not making it easy for me to work as it demands me to spend most of my time studying.
My academic records are excellent. I intend to devote myself entirely to my studies, would eventually like to forge a career in the future. I consider myself self-conscious and level headed. I have always seen myself somewhere inspiring the whole of African youths through academic achievements and ethical strength. I have a clear vision of not to only help myself but also others. I wish to be an influence on those who are less privileged like me in the local community and world at large.
Any help that you might be able to offer would be very gratefully received.
