Cats have a hard life living on the streets of Jakarta, Indonesia.
They are abused and tortured by humans, left with lifelong injuries.
Others are neglected, sick and starving. Many people turn a blind eye to
helping them and just leave them to die on the streets.
About
Rumah Singgah Kucing Jalanan is a small rescue in Jakarta, Indonesia, which has been operating since 2017 by a woman named Wilda Undriyani. There are over 130 cats in their care with around 30% of them being special needs, 30% are motherless kittens and around 40% of them suffer from influenza.

What's Needed
- Veterinary Care including acupuncture, wound treatments and emergency care
- Special food
- Medications including antibiotics, antivirals, pain medication
- Supplies including underpads, crates for isolation
Monthly average for the care of the special needs cats runs around $2000 a month
We Need Your Help
These cats have almost no
chance of being adopted out into family homes in Indonesia, especially
with special needs. They will likely live the rest of their lives with
Wilda and the cost of their care is more than they have coming in at the
moment. Many of the cats are waiting for donations in order to start
veterinary care.
With your donations of $25 or more, you can
sponsor one of the cats. We will send you a photo and a little
information about one of the cats you are helping.
Rumah Singgah Kucing Jalanan is transparent with where the money goes and we will share veterinary invoices and supply invoices as they come in.
Our special needs cats need your help.
Meet some of the cats that need your help
Bintang was hit by a motorbike in the streets and suffered injuries resulting in his paralysis. He needs acupuncture and veterinary care to help him recover. He is just a baby.
Sweet Suci suffered horrific injures from a horrible human who cut her face. We don't know the entire situation but she unfortunately cannot have surgery due to the difficulties but will continue to need regular treatment to heal.
Little Nove was found roaming the streets with a uterine prolapse. Luckily Wilda found this kitten and took it in for veterinary care to repair the prolapse. She is currently recovering but still requires treatment.

Update on the Condition of Cats with Disabilities at the Bekasi Street Cat Shelter
Update posted by Wilda Undriyani at 07:09 amAlhamdulillah, thanks to good friends, Anugrah and Bintang's condition has started to improve after acupuncture treatment was carried out. Now it has started to walk even though its walking is not normal like a normal cat. Hopefully many good friends will share their sustenance to continue the cost of acupuncture
