Help Papa Jun fight Myasthenia Gravis (MG)

Hi friends! I hope you can take the time to read and help in any way you can, by donating, including him in your prayers or by even SHARING this post is a big help too! We understand how these trying times have been difficult to all of us.

From March to June 2021, Papa Romulo was confined twice because of moderate symptoms of Covid-19 and suffered transient ischemic attack during his last confinement. By God's grace, he survived Covid-19 and has been recovering till today.

However, he was recently diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a chronic autoimmune disorder affecting the voluntary muscles of the body. The antibodies basically destroy the communication between the nerves and the muscles resulting in weakness of the skeletal muscles. Due to his diagnosis, he has to go through Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment which is very costly. The treatment consists of 5 sessions of IVIG per day for 5 days.

Currently, he is confined at Manila Doctors Hospital. The doctors have advised us that a tumor (Thymoma) was detected in his latest CT-scan and will have to be removed.

While our family and a few of our friends have been doing everything we can to support Papa's continuous medical treatments, our current resources and savings can only do so much as our hospital bills keep on piling up everyday. Our family humbly requests for any medical assistance you can give. No amount is too small and our family is incredibly grateful for every help you can lend us in order to help Papa Jun survive MG.
