Last August 13 at 2:05pm, I met my little boy. He was delivered early at 29weeks--a full two months before his due date because I had severe preeclampsia. He's still in the NICU fighting complications that come with preterm babies.

I don't have a nice photo of our son since we aren't allowed to take photos from inside the NICU. And I wouldn't want to post pictures of him with tubes and IVs even if we were.

Ben has been trying hard and exhausting every possible avenue to keep up with the bills and to keep our hopes afloat. I set up this gofundme account to possibly raise funds to cover even a small portion of the hospital costs. Here, we humbly ask for your help and we thank you for any amount you could spare and rest assured it is greatly appreciated.

If you wish to help directly, I've listed our bank details below.

We also ask for a lot of prayers for his healthy recovery. Everyday of his life is a miracle and as we celebrate his first month of life, we also celebrate small victories that brings us closer to bringing him home.

Another Angel

Update posted by Joann Roxan Vivar at 10:35 am

Alon slept peacefully on September 25th and carried on as an angel. We laid him to rest on September 29th and we've been trying to heal since. There's no way to describe the pain of losing a child. No parent should ever bury their offspring, it's unnatural. But things like. . . . .

Another Battle

Update posted by Joann Roxan Vivar at 01:44 am

Our boy is battling a new foe. We're doing our best to give him the best weapon to conquer it so he can finally completely heal. That weapon is worth PH5,000 a dose per day for 21 days. We don't know how we'll keep up but we'll do beyond what
