Campaign Story
Nido has been a good doggo to us even at her young age. Playful yet behaved.
She would go for walks with her mom doggo and my dad. She is gentle with other people, so my dad lets her walk around without a leash.
The incident happened today (January 1, 2020), here in our subdivision in Philippines, a driver driving a pick-up hit her, instantly disabling her from walking. My dad told the driver to shoulder the money that is needed for her health assessment/examination and he agreed.
We rushed her at the nearest animal hospital. On her x-ray scan, they found out that there is a damage on her left pelvic area and that the damaged bone was shattered. The attending doctor told us that she needs an operation to remove the bone fragments in order to avoid infection. The doctor also told us that she may still be able to walk after undergoing surgery on affected side. The estimated cost of the operation is around P25,000.
This is her x-ray scan while lying on a supine position.
This is her scan on prone position.
This is her now.She can support herself to move but she can't stand up. She won't stop from whimpering but she looks better now than she was before going to the hospital (breathing rapidly and was salivating).
We only need the money for her operation because we can't find that big of amount of money. We will be the one to shoulder the additional expenses. Please help us and our precious dog.

Update posted by Christian Joshua Elpedes at 05:24 amMy parents went out to buy groceries including dog food she might like. My brother assessed her by palpating her lower abdomen, then blood excreted from her vagina (January 4, 2020). She was whimpering even before my parents came home. She refused to eat.

Update posted by Christian Joshua Elpedes at 12:49 pmShe excreted blood tonight (January 3, 2020). We don't know which part of her body she secreted the blood from but we're guessing it is her urine basing from the strong smell similar to that of urine.
