Help our Northern Neighbors Edm

I have been glued to the online media since the story broke - and a number of us have made a call to action - seems the government isnt keen on a speedy remedy - Canadians like you and I are stepping up and putting up the funds to send North.  Family by Family - box by box, food, soap, toilet paper, tea the things we all take for granted cost ridiculous amounts of money and they go without to keep the heat on or the lights.  Amazon.ca will ship FREE to Nunavet, if we purchase a minimum of 125$.  That's where I have decided to pull together this mini fund raiser - to do exactly that.  Surely we can all throw in a few bucks to make it to such a meager minimum.  Buying these necessities online at real time prices means they receive a bounty like never before.  Here is an example of prices in Nunavet:  No name pre cooked frozen chicken pieces $64.00, A Delissio Pepperoni pizza is $27, A single can of ravioli is $16.   Please find it in your heart and your wallet to throw a buck or two into the pot.  All politics aside, these are families and elders and toddlers struggling.  Thats all I can see, my fellow Canadians, doing without and its eating my heart out.  Help me send a box, send a box on your own!  Just help.  Please.  

UPDATE!  We have now sent out 2 packages!  $125 in each plus shipping one shipment went to the Nunavet Food Bank and the second went straight to a families address direct on Broughton Island!  Two additional unexpected donations have rekindled my desire to keep pushing this and feed more families while I channel some of this energy into writing our MP's - we are feeding bellies AND kicking asses!  Pardon my language - its my fire talking.  Lets do this.  <3
