Campaign Story
Greetings of peace, generosity, and kindness!
The past month has tested and continues to test our family’s faith and patience. Last August 12, 2022, Nanay/Cely/Ngonging/Celia/Cecilia Baesa was rushed to Philippine Heart Center and was placed in ICU due to her lung problem. Upon closer examination, Nanay’s both lungs were diagnosed with Pneumonia. Prior to this, Nanay has already been diagnosed with small gastric ulcer and has been bedridden since 2021 after her 3RD ischemic stroke. She had undergone NGT, tracheostomy, central line placement, and different kinds of care and medication to prolong the function of her lungs, and stomach and to treat her severe bedsore. Nanay has been in ICU for 1 month now, which leaves us a balance of PHP 1,419,369.79 and counting.
She is still unresponsive right now but with God’s grace, she can already open her eyes. Lumalaban si Nanay and we cannot let her go without putting up a fight. As such, we are knocking on your door to seek your generous support to help us cover Nanay’s running hospital bills.
Any amount will be HIGHLY appreciated.
