Hello po! This is our mother, Lorna Prejillano. Early morning last March 21, she experienced severe headache and was rushed to the hospital. Impression on the Cranial non-contrast examination done stated: "right temporal acute lobar hemorrhage with minimal perisional vasogenic edema and mass effect, as well as entensive acute subarachnoid hemorrhage can be due to Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy, Ruptured Right Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm (Saccular or Mycotic), or Arteriovenous Malformation". She underwent an immediate surgical procedure to remove the massive bleeding and prevent further damage. The blood was suctioned and part of her skull's lining was removed. While the procedure has done her good, the hemorrhage has left her paralyzed on the left side , from legs up to her arms and face. There have been noted improvements from her continuous medication and physical therapy, such that her ventilator was taken out and she is instead breathing with just the oxygen tube inserted in her throat and has been responsive communicating only with her nods and movements from her right extremities. Her doctors tried to induce normal breathing by totally removing the tube for several times but she was able to do so only in short periods. Though she can manage to breathe using her lungs, the passage of air is blocked by her tongue, which involuntarily moves down her throat, still from the effect of the hemorrhage. She is scheduled to undergo tracheostomy to keep her to breathe normally and be totally independent of the oxygen. Our mother has been in the ICU since her confinement. It is still indefinite when she will be out and transferred to a regular room for recovery. As such, her hospital bill has already reached more than 400k with ICU charges, laboratory tests and medicines and supplies as major contributors reaching up to more than 166k per week.

We are asking for help of any amount, but most importantly, your prayers for the restoration of her health. Thank you very much and god bless.
