Help our Mom Fight Lung Cancer

Greetings!

This fundraiser was created to help raise funds for my mother’s cancer treatment. My mom, Juana Rivera, 65 yrs old, was recently diagnosed with lung cancer stage 2A.

It was last October, 2020 that we received the sad news about her illness. It was heartbreaking knowing that cancer treatment is a tough and lengthy battle.

She was admitted last October 13, 2020 for the biopsy of the pulmonary mass that was found on her lower left lung through CT scan. The biopsy revealed malignancy, pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma, pathologic stage 2A. Surgery for the removal of the mass and part of her lungs was advised. After some clearance and test the surgery was done. She is now recovering from the operation.

Her hospital bills including the doctor’s fee and the amount of the operation reached almost 1.7 million Php. My siblings work and mine which was affected by the pandemic cannot cover her hospital bills. We have a growing debt because of the several loans we had to afford my mom's treatment.

We are completely drained that’s why I am taking a chance to humbly and sincerely ask for your financial support.
