Our mama, just like any other mother, will do anything for her beloved children. Even when it comes to her own health, she would put her children first before anything else even though it would compromise her own health.

Five years ago, a small lump on her right breast caught her attention. She didn’t feel any pain so she just shrugged it off. Sending her children to school is her top priority. Having her children graduate in college is her only wish. And we’ve made it because of our loving mom as a housewife and the perseverance of our dad as a family driver.

As time goes by, the lump became bigger and bigger and multiplied.

Last year, July 2019, Stage 4 Breast Cancer is the first diagnosis. As a selfless mother, she didn't want her family to spend so much money in getting the cancer treated so she chose to settle with herbal food supplements hoping that it would make her better.

But this August 18, 2020, she was rushed into the hospital due to difficulty in breathing but got rejected by the first 4 several hospitals we’ve went to. This pandemic really sucks.

Lab tests show that she got fluid in her lungs, and her cancer metastasized. But we got through those struggles and got home after 10 days with the help of relatives, friends, and kind people who were very willing to help out with a hospital bill that we simply can't afford by ourselves. But we were in a bit of debt, and were now looking at ways to make money for chemo or immunotherapy.

Unfortunately, a month passed, September 24, and again, she was rushed into the hospital due to the first situation she been through. They thought it’s just like the common asthma. But after running several tests, it turns out she got positive with the COVID-19.

Our family haven’t emotionally and financially recovered from the first time she got admitted in the hospital, and now our bills are racking up. Currently sitting at 600,000 pesos (around 12,000USD) on her 5th day in the hospital recovering from covid-19.

I am humbly reaching out to you for any financial assistance that my family may use towards clearing her hospital bills and be able to transfer her at more affordable health care facility.
