Help our Little Fighter – Jenny
We are opening our year for a life that’s full of hope, faith, love, and happiness. We cannot attain to see ourselves suffering from the beginning, light is what we are aiming – but the life of this little girl when she was 6 years old up until today is different from ours.
Meet our little fighter - Jenny Rose Magadia. After Jenny graduated Kindergarten, she had experienced sudden seizures, and diagnose clogs in her brain – but the doctor cannot pinpoint what is her condition. This leads for Jenny to stopped playing outside their home because of what happened to her. She also stopped her studies at the age of 6, can’t even talk, and solid food is hard for her to swallow. It is way different from the bubbly and healthy Jenny the family knew.
As they seek to find answers on what happened to Jenny, the family had been to different doctors, take high-end medical laboratories, and examinations here in the Philippines, and took Jenny to the famous faith healers in Negros, but no one can’t find out what’s really wrong with her.
In the beginning of 2019, the Magadia’s had a pitiful trip to the hospital again. On January 9, Jenny had experienced chronic fever, darken skin, pneumonia, blood discharge, and more. This lead the Magadia to take Jenny to a private hospital in Lemery, Batangas.
The doctors advised the family to take the Intensive Care Unit for solid medical assistance and for Jenny to get the right amount of oxygen she needs. They also take laboratory exams, MRI, and more. They will also take the results to the doctors outside the Philippines to help the family about Jenny’s unnamed condition.
Our little fighter is hardly fighting for her life. On January 21st, the doctor said that Jenny cannot take the pain anymore. The only thing that is making her breathe is because of the machine – but in the morning of January 23, the doctor called the family saying they saw the little girl is fighting and will try to remove the machine. Miraculously, she can finally breathe on her own. Today, she’s been transferred to the normal room.
As of this writing (January 24, 2019), Jenny has been in the hospital for over 15 days and counting, with running 700 thousands hospital bill (without doctor’s fee) and more laboratory tests and procedures to take.
A sincere and heartfelt prayer will be highly appreciated. Also, Magadia’s family welcome every bit of financial assistance that can be extended at this time. The money will also be used as the family will go to a specialist in other countries to find out what is Jenny’s condition.
His brother, John Roger Magadia, is accepting and selling African lovebirds. All the money they collected from selling goes directly to Jenny’s hospital bills.
