We are knocking on your and hearts and asking for any spare kindness that you may have for our beloved grandfather Abel Lopez, 79 years old, who was involved in a terrible vehicular accident which lead to him receiving a Subdural Hematoma (a buildup of blood on the surface of the brain) and possible complications with the Parietal and Occipital Lobes in his brain. He is due for an urgent Craniotomy which is very expensive, as the blood needs to be drained ASAP. We will appreciate any additional financial assistance as hospital bills such as his accommodation and transportation fees for his blood bags (there are no supplies for what he needs in a 50 km radius, so we have to request for an ambulance to deliver his needs from faraway places due to pandemic protocol) are piling up while we wait for the results of additional scans and tests performed on him.
Our grandfather has been struggling with breathing, even requiring the aid of a respirator in order for him to carry on. He's been experiencing seizures and episodes of severe forgetfulness during his stay in the hospital, but despite all that, he still continues on to smile through all the pain and fights despite all the hardships he's been going through. He needs transfusions of Red Blood Cells as well as Platelet Concentrates which isn't cheap. We've also been struggling with hospital costs as well as costs for his medicine and all medical equipment, as we have just recently dealt with the passing of Mr. Abel's wife, who suffered from Stage 4 breast cancer.
We would love any form of help, be it financial or through prayers for our kind and loving grandfather. He is a kind man that has been selfless all throughout his life and he would love to share stories and smiles with all of you. And with all that said, we are forever grateful for any help that you may have for him.

Moving to the ICU
Update posted by Ron Miguel Espano at 08:53 amOur beloved grandfather Abel has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit due to an urgent need to address the swelling in his brain. He was unresponsive and needs extra care and attention. Thanks to all the donors for helping out, as we couldn't have managed to afford the transfer
