Help Our Friend to Pay Rent & Get By

Hi all,

We are collecting donations for our friend, Aimy. Here's her story:

"I've been in between jobs for a couple of months now... Thought it'd be easy to find a new one, but I've been proven wrong. :( And after going to countless interviews, I was finally offered a job at a local company, but now as luck would have it, they're having some problems processing my permit, so I'm still unemployed (without any income). And, to make matters worse, I had an accident where I had to spend twice my rent, and that really stretched the only money I had left. (T_T)

Unfortunately, as the permit issue won't be resolving any time soon, I'm at a point where I have no idea what to do. I don't want to lose my apartment (it's hard to find a place that I'd like -- moved 5 times before I finally settled in where I am now) and well, I need to just get by. So, taking the advice from my friends, I decided to let them create this page, and hoping that there are kind-hearted people out there to help, even a tiny bit. They say if you don't ask, the answer will always be no, right? So here I am, asking."

We are seeing first hand how she's been working hard to figure out a way but still struggling, and would like to help, but there's only so much we could support ourselves. so we're asking from all you good Samaritans to help as well if possible.
