Help Us Pay Our Debt For Our Father’s Heart Surgery

Good day to you all!

My name is Kyro Parado. My family and I are living in the Philippines. I came upon this website to help my father who is in dire need of your help right now.

As recent as the first week of February, my loving father, who is 56 years old, and is a professor teaching at the University of Santo Tomas, was admitted to the Chinese General Hospital and was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, with severe Aortic Stenosis, in which he would need aortic valvular replacement.

On February 23, 2022, he had a check-up at the Philippine Heart Center, and we are expecting his heart surgery would happen either by the last week of March or by the first week of April. As early as now, I and my older brother are starting this fundraising campaign in hopes that you would be able to help us pay for his upcoming heart surgery in the coming weeks.

Just last night (March 6, 2022), we rushed our father to the Philippine Heart Center for an emergency appointment with the doctor that had previously checked on him last month.

We had recently received new information that my dad is in critical condition right now, and that his heart surgery could happen at any time soon.

The only problem is that we still don't have enough money to pay for his surgery, despite the countless people who have donated for him since February 23, 2022.

I and my older brother would hope that this fundraising campaign would help our sick father regain his strength again. Donations will be very much appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. Even if you would not be able to donate for my father's heart surgery, I ask for you all to please include my father in your prayers to God, that he may be healed quickly. The thought of losing our father scares me more than anything in the world. We would be extremely grateful for any amount you could donate to us. May God bless you and your kind souls.

Good news everyone! The heart surgery of my father, which occurred on March 22, 7:00 AM, was recently finished. I am glad to tell all of you that my father is now in great condition during his ongoing postoperative care. He is now able to speak, walk, and breathe again with no problems whatsoever!

I sincerely want to thank all of the people who have donated, prayed, and messaged him with love and support throughout the past several weeks before his heart surgery. I thank God and all who have helped us for giving my father a second chance in life.

Because the doctors and the surgeons are kind enough to make a down payment for my father's heart surgery, we were able to pay them with all of the donations we have received so far, along with some additional help from my mother. We have gained a total of PHP 1,300,000 as of March 19, 2022.

Unfortunately, however, it's still wasn't enough to pay the total price of the surgery, which was approximately PHP 2,500,000. We are currently in debt of approximately PHP 1,200,000 or more. Even after the surgery, we still need your help!
