Help Our Family Start Over

Hi, everyone!

I’m Che and I’m based in Manila while my family is in Bicol. I’ve been wanting to move to Spain but always felt trapped and could not leave the Philippines, due to the mounting loans my family incurred over the years.

I am the eldest of six siblings. My family and I live very simple lives, but due to lack of financial literacy, have kept using credit cards and paying only the minimum. Then the balances have grown.

My father is about to retire, and in the hopes of having a good retirement with my mother, he ended up joining a forex trading scheme, which turned out to be a scam. Now we as a family have to pay off the debt as well, as my father’s bank denied his appeal.

I, however, haven’t given up on my dreams, and I vowed to myself that I will make 2019 the year I will make my biggest dream happen. With prayers and determination, I am now two steps closer to reaching it, but I would need some help with the expenses in starting over in a new, unfamiliar, but undeniably exciting place.

I would like to humbly ask for your help in my helping my family and myself. I don’t want to leave them behind, unable to help while I’m settling in. We are all helping together the best way we can; my parents are still working and so are my brothers, and my sister and I are both actively looking for jobs. I hope that you’ll find it in your heart to help us have a brand-new start.
