Help our family be ready for Day Zero

We are a family of 4 (Dad, mom, and 2 little ones), living in the beautiful city of Cape Town, but we are facing "Day Zero" in the Western Cape.

Western Cape has been in a 3 year "dry season", and our dams are running out of water. Currently we are on strict water restrictions, but Western Cape is facing Day Zero in April if we are not blessed by serious rainfalls. This will mean our water taps being turned of, and that we will need to go to the 200 water points for almost 5 million Capetonians, where 6.6 gallons of water will be allocated per person.

We need to make provision for when this day comes, installing water tanks, grey water pipes, pumps etc at our home, so that we are able to survive in this crisis and have water available. Me as a mom of 2 little one's are having sleepless nights. Both myself and my husband are self employed, and we took a serious knock financially in 2017 - having to sell my husband's small company at a loss, and my work-load being cut in half. We are living on the bare minimal, trying to get back on our feet, and therefor we are unable to afford all needed to get prepared for this crisis that is about to hit our city.
