Help our dad with his medical expenses

Update posted by L D On Jan 30, 2019

My father has already passed away last January 24, 2019. He suffered from Cardiac Arrest while he was undergoing dialysis. He was 72 years old.

Due to the recent events, we apologise that we weren't able to update this page immediately. All extra proceeds after his procedure have been allocated for his funeral and burial instead.

He was cremated last January 29, 2019 at Loyola Memorial Crematorium and Colombarium. Thank you to your kind donations, we were able to raise enough to afford a space in St. Gabriel Of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Colombarium. The donations from the wake will also be used to transfer the remains of my mother to the Colombarium, so that my dad will be together with her once again.

Thank you so much. Because of your help, we were eased financial worries that usually come with funeral and burial services. We will forever be grateful for what you have compassionately shared with our family.

We know my dad is now at peace and free from pain, and he is now with Mommy Lily.

Please keep us in your prayers.

hello! My dad has already been released and is now home and recuperating. Thank you so so much for all the help you have sent. It was able to cover his entire stay, and should cover his succeeding visits. He will have his hemodialysis later, and is expected to be back to see the doctor in a week.

Thanks to friends and family. We are truly indebted. 🙏❤️

The Thoracentesis procedure was done yesterday at a little past 2pm. More than 2.2 cc/litres of fluid was extracted from the right lung. We shall spare you the that image. But imagine carrying that much toxic waste in your body. The fluid is being tested for various things because it was rather murky. Dr. Jerome said more often than not the fluid extracted from the lung would be clear and resemble urine more.

After the procedure, he was able to breathe much better and was able to get some rest.

Dad is still confined, and will have his round of dialysis by tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully be released by tomorrow as well. His nephrologist Dr. Mora is also assisting us.

Again thanks to everyone who continues to send assistance. We cannot thank you enough. Some have chosen to be anonymous, thanks as well. You know who you are.

My sister just got back from the hospital. My dad will be confined today for them to perform the Thoracentesis for his pneumonia brought on by his CKD. This diagnostic procedure will drain the pleural effusion.

Currently waiting for a room to free up. It needs to be a private room since pneumonia patients are susceptible hosts, as well as easily acquire viral infection from the environment due to the weakened immune system. We shall update when able.

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent their donations, support, love, prayers and gas spread the word. It means so much to us all. Our father also sends his gratitude.
