Campaign Story
As many of you will know, long-term ELT champion, IATEFL supporter, author, poet and literature expert David A. Hill has been battling long-term illness for quite some time now. Unfortunately he is no longer able to work, and is being cared for by his wife. As you can imagine, the lack of two income streams has put a severe drain on finances, and with a teenage daughter the family is struggling to survive in these difficult times.
If you have worked with David, written or presented with him, been bird-watching or shared any other time with him and would like to show solidarity with him and his family, please consider a donation on this page. We will provide updates as and when we can.

Update posted by Gavin Dudeney at 09:18 amIt's with a heavy heart that I write that David died early morning today, in the company of his closest family, after a long and heard-fought battle against illness that had finally left him without voice last Wednesday.Those of you who contributed here on the website went a long way. . . . .

Shocked to hear the news of David's death. Condolences to all the family. Known him since he was very young but last seen in June 2016 in Budapest. Will be missed!
