Help Our Business = Save Our Family

I am writing this as a father, husband and enthusiast retailer to ask for your support for Chop Chop Chang’s, a genuine online shop that founded jointly by my Japanese wife, Arisa and myself in 2011 soon after our first child, Rui is born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Business turnover of the shop has been promising BUT only until Goods and Services Tax (GST) is enforced nationwide in Malaysia on 1^st April, 2014. In Chop Chop Chang’s, despite no losses, the shop’s after tax profit for past 3 years has been fallen drastically and I can no longer sustain my growing family by this business.

Last August, I have decided to take up a full time job in a consultant company while running the shop at the part time basis. I feel relief a bit for my family that can be sustained by this steady income; however, both Arisa and I agree that our family will not take off if I continue earning “barely sufficient salary” as a humble office role.

With much discussion with Arisa and family, I will tender my resignation by end of this month (September 2017) so to focus in business realignment for exponential growth.

I know Chop Chop Chang’s heyday would not happen without the energy and enthusiasm of me who organizes, administrates and manages it. Unfortunately, enthusiasm in itself is not enough, and the shop costs a considerable amount to put on. I have spared my family savings of MYR 30,000 (approximate US$ 7,300) and around MYR 15,000 (approximately US$ 3,000) has to be raised to cover business expenses, which include an overseas venture for new stock source, business insurance, publicity/social marketing and emergency fund.

Chop Chop Chang’s would fall likewise to my family without the support of those businesses and individuals especially this challenging moment. I am sincerely to seek if you would be able to lend a helping hand towards my business and my family. Your helps will be very much appreciated, and acknowledged in my publicity for Chop Chop Chang’s.
