Help our art project to reduce bullying

Bullying is a very big problem in schools in Romania too. The phenomenon is very complicated. The aim of my project is to end bullying behaviour and help in prevention by encouraging creative thinking and conversations about bullying. In order to fullfil this aim I created an arts-based bullying prevention activity to encourage students and help them to grow in tolerance and empathy.
The main activities are based on four workshop for a group of 15 children,between ages 11-14 selected from schools in Cluj Napoca, Romania, in cooperation with local general schools.
The main activities of these workshop sessions are:
1.-2. Workshop:

-Purpose: Raising Awareness
-Duration: 2 hours/workshop

Through individual paintings we are going to talk about the forms of bullying, about agressors and victims. During the workshop we use different colors, papers and art tools to express our thoughts about the phenomenon of bullying.
Conclusions: Bullying is not OK! Anyone can be an agressor or a victim!

3.-4. Workshop:

-Purpose: Prevention

-Duration: 2 hours/workshop

During these workshops we repeat our main conclusions about bullying. We talk about the opposite actions and feelings, like: hug, encouraging, emphaty). We paint these ones together with the whole group on a huge canvas.
Conclusions: Do not bully! Be a friend! In good actions you always find partners. Let's do something good together.
