The "Ciudad de los niños " which translates as "City of Children" is a place in Mazatlán, Sinaloa Mexico that is dedicated to help and raise homeless children, many from terrible backgrounds of abuse or extreme poverty. It is run by mother Delia and 6 other sisters who have dedicated their life to these children, they cook, clean, educate and care for the children without any form of salary and what little money they raise by selling superfluos donations like excess schoolbags or clothes in a bazaar. It has a capacity for up to 75 children at a time.
Currently the City of Children receives help in the form of in kind donations by many local people who are willing to help but these donations are in their majority used clothes, old books, canned foods and perishables. Others offer their work for free like painting or carpentry. All these donations help of course but the sad reality is that they have little to no money income and struggle a lot with school expenses, medicine, electricity, water, taxes among other needs.
The city of children needs our help right now because these year things have been rough and they are struggling terribly with expenses , we ask please for your kind help with whatever you can for these hardworking women and these vulnerable children.
Whatever donations are made will go to the city of children so they can cover their due expenses.
