The child Omar, 5 years ago, did not walk, he could not play, walk and run like other children. On his birthday on 30.11.2016, he was sitting at his computer playing games. Suddenly the child convulsed and lost consciousness, and he was taken to the hospital. No one knows what happened to him.
After several days, he returned from the hospital with difficulty moving his feet, and in one of his attempts to go to the bathroom the child fell to the floor.
Omar returned to the hospital again and underwent treatment in the hospital for nearly a month while he is in intensive care and unconscious.
Doctors were able to diagnose Omar and discovered that he had ADEM syndrome, which is an inflammation of the lining of the brain and inflammation of the lining of the spinal cord, a very rare disease that affects 8 out of a million people annually.
Omar received physiotherapy again for a long time in Gaza, but he was recently cut off from treatment due to the poor economic situation of the family and their inability to afford the physiotherapy he needed.
Omar, after several months, will complete his fifteenth year. He cannot walk or move, in addition to a spinal problem.
Help Omar to travel abroad to complete his treatment, so that he can walk again and celebrate his next birthday on foot.
Omar wishes to lead his life as normal as any child of his age and to be able to go to school and receive education in it, and to get out of the walls of the house to discover the world and see people.
Donate to Omar and save his childhood.
