Campaign Story
Hello, I’m Ognyan, or Ogi for short - an 11-year-old from Bulgaria, and I love Mathematics! For about 4 years now I’ve been representing my country in international competitions across Europe and Asia, and I’ve won over 60 medals.
The World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Finals is one of the hardest competitions in Asia. There are preliminary rounds held in many countries, thousands of children participate and only the medalists are invited to the finals.
Last year, I took part in the WMI Finals in South Korea and won a gold medal in my age group (4th grade): http://www.wminv.org/index.php?lang=us&mode=award_2018. It was also the only gold medal for my country for the 1st to 4th grade age groups.
My family has been working hard to gather the funds needed for the travel and stay, but we will need some extra help. That is why we are turning to you. Please donate any amount you can, every little bit counts. It would mean the world to me to able to compete again and hopefully win another gold medal. Thank you very much for your kindness and support!
