HELP NOW FOR A LIFE TOMORROW

I am Rogemar Juanillo, I became a father at the age of 20 years old. I felt it was an end of the world for me since at that time I was still studying in college. It was then that I realized how hard to handle a situation like this because I am a working student and the eldest of the seven siblings in the family. But with my determination, hard work and dedication I was able to finish my college degree and raised my daughter who is 4 years old today.

Her name is Hailey May, she is in her pre-school now. She is my inspiration and source of my strengths to be positive in my outlook in life and in every endeavor that I am in to. I always tried to make her life easier whenever possible and always put her first no matter what. I have so many plans for her especially for her education. I remember one day she told me that she wants to become a doctor and a teacher someday. My heart melted with mixed feelings, a feeling of joy because I cannot imagine that at her tender age she could have that kind of thinking for her dreams in the future. But coupled with such feeling of joy, was the feeling of worries because as an ordinary father with no stable job it really bothered me on how to make her dreams comes to reality. As a father, it is very hard to see her being unable to realize such dream as well to see my family suffering from poverty. This is the reason why I devoted all my time to avail any work opportunity for me to earn money for my family and also save some for her education.

However, in spite of all my efforts and determinations, I always ended insufficient earnings to sustain my family needs and for the suppose amount that I intend to save every day. There were times sometimes in which my earning for the day is too small and is not enough to cover the household expenses for that day. I really wanted to look for a job abroad as the only way to provide my family a good life especially to ensure my daughter’s future education. This time I realized that I need somebody with a helping hand to help me achieve my daughter’s dream and my family. But the problem is where should I start looking for such people and/or organizations? Until one day I received an email informing me that while there are job opportunities in New Zealand only that my qualification is not enough to meet the requirement unless if I have to avail their offer to spend at least a year there to study and once I have a diploma that’s the time I become eligible to work there (New Zealand). I find it very advantageous but my problem is I don’t have the money to invest for the whole year course fee, student visa fee, medical fee embassy fee plus board and lodging, and plane tickets. It is really beyond my capacity to come up with the needed amount for the study. Because of this I decided to write this letter appealing to any philanthropic people/organizations out there that have the magnanimous heart of sharing even a bit of their blessings for my plan to study in New Zealand. Rest assured that for every amount you’ll be donating for me, for sure it will go a long way. Even just a coin that you can drop for me now, will be folded many times for a brighter future of my daughter and family. Being a Christian, I am devoted to the belief that for us to have a meaningful life we should live in a culture of giving, sharing and helping people from the less fortunate sector of the society such that the help that you can give now is like a seed that when it will be sowed it will soon germinates and become a forest of success.
