Help Nosipho and Her Family

Hi, I'm Nosipho - I'm 19 years old and I reside in Alexandra township (Johannesburg, South Africa). I matriculated in 2018 and have spent the past 2 years in eSwatini doing the IB program at the United World College of Southern Africa.

I'm raising money in efforts to support my family. Pictured above is my 54 year old mother (my family's sole provider) who is currently faced with the threat of unemployment as a result of the state of her health. She has been working for almost 3 decades as a groomer for house pets. Due to uncertainty about when she'll be able to work again, I've decided to raise funds.

We will be using the money to take care of our basic needs (food, hygiene essentials and electricity) as well as to pay off our household bills (e.g our insurance policies and my wifi as I am still doing my online learning).

Your donations would mean a lot to us as a family as this situation is very unprecedented and has been rather stressful and uncertain. The money would go a long way in providing us some relief until we are back on our feet.

I live with both my parents and my mother provides for not just me but her extended family in the Eastern Cape as well. This means that your donation would be supporting not just us as a family but our dependants who we support monthly.
