Help Norman Spend More Time with His Grandkids

Hello everyone! I am launching a fundraising campaign for my Father, Norman Macalos who was recently diagnosed with a severe coronary artery disease (The exact angiogram conclusion is: Single vessel severe coronary artery disease (CTO of calcified LAD) with left main disease and Elevated systemic arterial pressures). He is also borderline diabetic and hypertensive. He is in need of an urgent Revascularization via Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting or what we call a heart bypass surgery.

Last November 5th 2019, we rushed him to the hospital as he was experiencing chest pain, nausea and he felt like he needed more air or oxygen. In the Laguna Doctors' Hospital ER he had an elevated BP of 220/140 that's why he was admitted right away. After a stress test, his local cardiologist recommended an angiogram which will determine the extent of his disease. This procedure was completed on November 9th in De La Salle University Medical Center in Cavite where our Tito and Tita are doctors. We were informed that his heart problem cannot be treated by a simple angioplasty, thus the heart bypass recommendation.

It's been a few years since my dad has started having medical issues and because of this, he has not been able to run his construction business consistently leaving me and my mom to handle all our expenses. I am 5 months pregnant (on high risk pregnancy) and am also saving for my CS delivery on March so my resources will have to be divided between my needed medical care and my dad's.

My dad is only 58 years old and has a whole life ahead of him had this not happened. He is my mom's knight, he's always been there as her beloved husband and she has always told us how lucky she is that she has my dad. He is our protector - he makes sure that all of us-even his grown up kids - are always safe with the little things he do (from driving us to doing errands for us). He is his three grandchildren's most loved playmate and he will do everything just to make these kids happy (from buying them toys to being their horse lol). He is a very generous person and will do everything he can to help anyone who asks for his help. He has a zest for life and the world will always be a better place with him in it.
