Help Niko!

I need help to be able to continue with my Siberian Husky Niko's medical care going.  

My story:  April 29th my dogsitter called and said my dog had gotten into chicken grease and was not wanting to move and just lying on the ground in the driveway.  I told him to rush the dog to the vet immediately which he did.  On my way rushing there, I received a call and upon arriving was shown the bad news.  The x-ray showed what appeared to be a mass on his inner body wall next to his lung.  There were many possibilities (abcess, tumor, swollowed aspirates) , but I was told if I were going to do it, I would have to go "all in" which was going to cost money that some people do not want to spend on their dogs.  I requested blood work first which would help rule out cancer, there appeared to be no indication that this was the cause.  So after Niko spending the night in the emergency clinic and then the following day at my vet, they released him to me because his dehydration and risk of shock (shown by collapsing artery in x-ray) had appeared to be gone.  I have him home now, he is very lathargic, I believe still recovering from the dehydration, but now comes the difficult part, the appointment for the ultrasound with the specialist and then either high doses of IV antibiotics, minor surgery, or major surgery to remove the mass.  My first vet visit was $800, the clinic was $230, and the vet the next day was $160.  This has already taken a toll on me financially, but I think of Niko as my 3rd child and they nor do I want their "brother" to die so I am going to do my best.  The estimate for the ultrasound, biopsy, and surgery / treatment ranges from $2200-$3000 so I am trying to get help from anyone possible so that I can help him come through this and be himself again.
