It's been a devastating time in Nepal. As many as 4.000 or more have died or been injured and many have lost their loved ones. Homes have been destroyed and people are struggling with basic necessitie such as clean water, food and sanitation. Already narrow roads have been further hindered with the rubble from collapsed buildings and giant unpassable cracks, making the relief effort even more difficult. Hospitals are spilling over with casualties to the point where the rubble filled streets are being used as make shift wards and it is uncertain just how many people are still trapped. The 7.9 magnitude quake has truely shaken Nepal and the government has declared a state of emergency. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and is totally unprepared for a natural disaster of this scale, both financially and in terms of infrastructure. This is why I am trying to raise money to support the relief efforts in the aftermath of this disaster. I am pleading with you to support the people of Nepal with whatever you can, even a small amount can, and will go a long way. It will help provide water, food and shelter to victims that have lost absolutely everything. Let's all come together to help people in Nepal to bounce back. Every penny really can make a difference.
