Help Nelle Fight the Big C!

This is my beautiful brave wife, Nelle. A caring wife, a loving mother of two, and a metastatic breast cancer patient.

Last January 2016, she was diagnosed with as having Stage 3A triple negative type breast cancer, a rare and very aggressive type of breast cancer. She then had mastectomy, 8 cycles of chemotherapy and 33 sessions of radiation therapy for her initial treatment. After her initial treatment, her PET scan evaluation on August 2016 showed that the disease had already metastised to her liver and spine. So she underwent RFA (Radio Frequency Ablation) last September 2016 to burn that small tumor in her liver. Afterwhich, she had oral chemo treatment while going through again radiation therapy for her spine. She was doing fine until April 2017.

On April 2017, results of her liver dynamic CT scan showed recurrence of cancer. She was then told to complete her 6 cycles of oral chemo first and then observe if there would be any improvements. After completion of her oral treatment, repeat CT scan showed no improvements and so she was asked to undergo chemotherapy again. After 3 cycles of chemotherapy, evaluation tests showed that there was still progression of the disease and that they had to change her chemo drugs since the one that they were using seemed not very effective on her. By mid-September, she was experiencing back and abdominal pains coupled with numbness in her left leg. Bone scan showed that cancer had already spread to her whole spine, ribs, pelvis, left arm and left leg. We were referred to an orthopedic spine surgeon and the surgeon had instructed her to have complete bed rest. She is no longer allowed to walk, to stand, or to just even sit as these would put stress onto her spine which might cause it to collapse which then could lead to paralysis.

She is now bed-bound and is currently confined to the hospital for treatment of edema, pneumonia and blood infection. She had been in the hospital for a month now and the bills are all piling up.

We are fortunate enough to have families and friends helping us both emotionally and financially. However, the bills are really mounting and my wife still needs continuous treatment. Our savings are already depleted and my salary is barely enough to keep up with our monthly bills. I would like to raise funds to give my wife the proper medical treatment she needs.

I am a proud person and I dislike asking help from anyone but now I am already desperate and my wife is more valuable than my pride. I really need to sustain her medical treatment so we can buy more time together. She has so much will to live, so I am begging everyone to please help me help her.
